Sun Seed Vita mixes are vitamin enriched. Like all Sun Seed products they are triple cleaned to remove  dust and foreign materials. Human grade F&DA approved food coloring is mixed with water soluble avian vitamins, and then sprayed on ingredients that will absorb them. This method assures that the vitamins are actually ingested by the birds, and not cast aside with the seed hull.
